AAGL Congress – Learning, Collaborating and Sharing on the World Stage

The AAGL Global Congress is one of my favourite meetings to attend each year. As the world's largest congress dedicated to minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, it brings together leading surgeons, researchers and innovators from across the globe to share the latest advances in surgical techniques, technology and education.

I had the privilege of attending the congress in New Orleans (2024) and Vancouver (2025) as part of the AGES delegation, representing Australia while learning from internationally recognised experts and reconnecting with colleagues from around the world. It was also a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the scientific programme through my video presentations on innovation in robotic Caesarean scar niche repair and robotic techniques in triple compartment deep endometriosis, sharing our surgical experience with an international audience.

Every AAGL meeting leaves me inspired with new ideas, new techniques and a renewed enthusiasm for advancing minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. I always return home motivated to incorporate these learnings into my clinical practice, teaching and research.
